General - About Casino Action and member casinos.
Casino Action is an umbrella scheme which operates bonuses, special offers and regular tournaments on behalf of its member casinos. You can join as many of these casinos as you want, and you can claim bonuses and enter tournaments with each account. This means that you can have up to 7 entries in any tournament, one for each account, you can even win a prize per account. In reality though, players will tend to play one or two accounts for each tournament, and players monopolising more places than this have caused adverse comment. The monthly Blackjack tournament is a little different, players will play as many accounts as possible, but due to the fickle nature of high stakes Blackjack are highly unlikely to win more than around 2 prizes.
All promotional money is put into a separate bonus account, where it is wagered to meet requirements. Once the requirement has been met you can transfer winnings over to your real account for playing. A further wager requirement exists for these transfers, and is the same as if it were a deposit made to claim a bonus. If a bonus is awarded directly from a deposit to your real account, then that deposit, along with any transfers from that bonus to the real account, must be wagered by the relevant amount too before any withdrawal can be processed. There is a knack to getting the most out of your play at these casinos (those who join through my website can apply for the guide). One unique bonus is the 'Wheel of Cash', this will often launch at random when you log on, and may occasionally arrive as a player E-mail while you are playing. You will be invited to spin the wheel, which will award prizes ranging from £15 to £500 commonly, but very rarely will award £1000 and even £2500 (If you get the one with £2500 on it!). You can also win tickets for the monthly £2500 'one winner' prize draw. The wheel operates from a query run every half hour, so for each half hour stretch you are found to have been making wagers in your real account, you will be given a chance of a spin. This is similar to a lucky dip, often seen at other casinos, but it is presented in an entertaining way with a graphical 'wheel of cash' device that awards the pre-selected prize.
Customer service is provided by means of Live Chat and E-mail, and can be accessed from the casino software or the casino websites.
The two weekly tournaments come in 2 parts, a wager challenge against other players, and a lucky draw for all participants. You may win both a lucky draw and wager scoreboard prize in the same account. Play that does not obtain a position on the scoreboard will still give an entry to the lucky draw. It is worth having a couple of tournament plays in the accounts you will not be playing the wager challenge from to give more lucky draw entries.
The Wednesday and Saturday draws are simple lucky draws. You must have played for 10 minutes or more, AND be logged in at the time the draw takes place every half hour. A simple strategy for these is to logon and set a game to autoplay during the whole draw period. This can be done while meeting wagering requirements in you real account due to the new bonus transfer rules.
Players who join solely to win from the welcome bonus will generally fail, as the mathematics is against them. A big win in the bonus account or real account is required to turn a profit, and this will not happen by playing Blackjack! It is players who play for the long term who reap the benefits of the bonusing system. Use your welcome bonus to compete in tournaments, you may be pleasantly rewarded.
If you deposit and play frequently you will be given VIP status advances, which come with enhanced benefits. There are also 'Comp' points awarded based on wagering. These convert directly to real money with no wagering requirement. As you reach higher VIP levels the conversion factor gets better, so it is best NOT to cash these points in till you reach Platinum level, or you are going to stop playing and inactivate your account.
